Landlord Information

  • Once a property is included in our portfolio we will strive to rent the property as quickly and cost effective to you as possible.
  • Our lettings list is updated daily and is advertised in our town centre office windows and official web site.
  • We will issue advice, information and assistance to new clients where possible. Personnel are familiar with rental obligations for example regulations set out by the Private Residential tenancies Board.
  • Prospective tenants will be requested to provide details for screening ( two written references which are checked by Westport Estates and photo identification) and will be required to pay the equivalent of one months rent as security deposit and first week / month rent in advance.
  • We are also now insisting that all rental payments are made via standing order. This is a much more efficient, reliable and effective method of payment.
  • Each tenant in the property will sign a legally binding lease agreement.
  • Rents due to landlords will be forwarded to them monthly no later than 7 working days into the following month. We can arrange for lodgements directly to your bank account if requested (additional charge may be incurred).
  • Under our new mission statement Westport Estates and Leasing carry out property checks at regular intervals especially in the case of new tenants.

  • You can be assured of a friendly, efficient service. Our team of experience personnel will take into account your specific accommodation requirements and provide you with details of the best possible match from our database.
  • We will strive to keep you updated on all new properties available that best match your requirements.
  • Rental payments can only be accepted by Standing Order.
  • Westport Estates and Leasing will also provide, to the best of our ability, a prompt service with regard to any issues that may arise during your tenancy.
  • Viewings are available by appointment only.
  • Prior to renting a property we will require any two of the following written documentation;
  • Current bank reference
  • Reference from previous landlord(s)
  • Character reference
  • Reference from Employers
  • Professional reference i.e. from accountants where by you are self employed
    And
  • Photo identification
